Though I was born and raised in Southern California, my husband and I retired to Kimberling City, Missouri, several years ago. We live on Table Rock Lake and enjoy the peace of small town and lakeside living.

Our children and grandchildren live all over the country and we see them only a couple of times a year - but my camera rarely leaves my side. And, unless he's out on the lake fishing, my husband is usually right there too....prepared to set up my tripod at a moment's notice! ...

I hadn't picked up a camera in many years, but in preparation for a cruise my husand and I were planning many years ago, I purchased a little "point and shoot" digital camera and was amazed at the ease and simplicity of this new technology - and instantly fell in love with photography all over again. (Have since graduated to a DSLR - but still carry my point-and shoot with me at all times!) Since then, I rarely go anywhere without my camera and have enjoyed taking in all the beauty Mother Nature has to offer...no matter the form. And in this area of the world, Mother Nature has outdone herself! I have many photographs that I've taken in many other beautiful states and countries in my portfolio - but it's hard to beat the beauty of the Ozarks.
